Ready to Buy a Home?
Whether it’s your first home or your fifth, buying a home is a big move — emotionally and financially. I’m here to make the process clear, strategic, and even enjoyable. You don’t need to know everything about buying a home — that’s what I’m here for.
Here’s what it looks like when we work together:
Step 1: We Talk Through the Big Picture
Before we start looking at homes, we’ll talk through your goals, timeline, and what matters most — so everything we do is aligned with what you’re really looking for. Buying a home is one of the best long-term investments you can make, and I want you to feel confident, not rushed.
We’ll talk about your must-haves, your nice-to-haves, and your budget comfort zone. Even if you’re just exploring what’s out there, we can have a no-pressure conversation to get you started.
Step 2: I Help You Get Pre-Approved
I’ll connect you with trusted local lenders (or work with yours) to get you pre-approved. This gives you a clear sense of what you can afford — and puts you in a strong position when it’s time to make an offer.
Even though the lender approves a certain amount, I’ll always encourage you to buy based on your monthly comfort level, not just what the bank says.
Step 3: We Start the Home Search
This is where things get fun. Once you’re pre-approved, I’ll set up a personalized search and send you homes that match your style, budget, and priorities. I’ll also keep an eye out for off-market opportunities and give you honest feedback on each property.
As we tour homes, your preferences may shift — and that’s totally normal. I’m here to help you clarify what matters most and keep you grounded as the emotions kick in.
Step 4: You Make an Offer — I Make it Count
Once you find the right home, I’ll help you structure a strong offer based on local comps, market conditions, and your goals. I’ll walk you through all the terms — price, timing, contingencies — and handle all the negotiations on your behalf.
This is where it helps to have someone who knows the local market and how to write an offer that stands out.
Step 5: Due Diligence & Inspections
I’ll help coordinate your inspections and review the reports with you so you understand what’s worth worrying about (and what’s not). If something comes up, we’ll either negotiate repairs or credits — or, if needed, walk away.
My job is to protect your investment and make sure you’re not surprised by anything after closing.
Step 6: We Prepare for Closing
Once you’re under contract, I’ll keep everything on track — from deadlines to documents — so there are no last-minute surprises. I’ll stay in close contact with your lender, the seller’s agent, the title company, and anyone else involved in the transaction.
You’ll also do a final walk-through before closing to make sure everything is as expected.
Step 7: You Close and Get the Keys
On closing day, you’ll sign the final documents, transfer the funds, and officially become a homeowner. I’ll make sure you know exactly what to bring and what to expect, and I’ll be there to celebrate this big milestone with you.
Step 8: I Stick Around
Even after you close, I’m still here for you. Need contractor recommendations? Want to track your home’s value over time? Curious about refinancing down the road? I’ve got you. My goal is to be a resource long after the sale — not just someone who disappears once the keys are handed over.
